‘A Big Softie’
A couple of weeks ago I thought I’d treat myself to a little something from LUSH.
As soon as I walked through the door I spotted the Butterbear and just had to pick it up. Regardless of the smell or price, it was getting in that paper bag and coming home with me based entirely on how cute it was.
It has a creamy vanilla scent infused with cocoa butter and ylang ylang oil to leave your skin feeling deeply nourished and moisturised. Although it seemed to fizz away rather quickly, the tiny pieces of cocoa butter continue to melt into your bath leaving you with a super soft, hydrated feeling that stays on your skin until the next day and doesn’t feel at all greasy. Absolutely brilliant for Eczema and dry skin sufferers around this time of year.
I was very impressed with this bath bomb and have since been back to purchase another one. My skin has never felt better and at only £1.95 you can’t go wrong!
What a perfect stocking filler too.
So the clocks have gone back, there’s only a few days left until Halloween and it’s only just started getting cold this year woo! As much as I hate being cold, I love being cosy and that’s what makes this my favourite time of year.
After a busy week at work, I spent today pumpkin carving with my boyfriend and brother. We bought Pumpkin Party Kits from Asda that included tools and stencils and got to work! We even made one to go in the salon…
I am new to blogging and to be honest have been worried about starting as I feared it could already be ‘too late’. There are so many beauty blogs out there and let’s face it, who wants to read another opinion on what shade of MAC lipstick is on trend this season. But then I thought, erm, I do! I could sit down with a cup of tea and read about beauty and fashion advice all day long and so I thought that maybe now is the perfect time to start sharing some of my pictures, opinions and a few of my favourite things too.
